NSF Cheque Policy

Cheques returned for Not Sufficient Funds (NSF) will result in a $25.00 service charge per cheque as well as the requirement that the diver pay any amount owed to the Club with cash or by certified cheque for the balance of the diving season.

Diving Withdrawal – General

Where the effective withdrawal date is on or before November 15, 2022, 70% of the total annual fees for the season will be payable, along with the Diving Plongeon Canada (DPC) fee. No refunds or adjustments will be provided for withdrawals that are effective after November 15, 2022.

Reasons for withdrawal:

  1. Relocation from the municipality with proof presented.

  2. An academic challenge with a written note from a teacher and/or principal.

  3. Program change requested by the head coach.

Request must be submitted in writing/email to the Nepean Ottawa Diving Club Board and the Head Coach and accompanied by appropriate proof. The request will be assessed based on the day it is received, not the last day of practice that the diver attended.

Refunds will not be made for any other reason.

Diving Withdrawal - Illness or Injury

If an illness or injury requires the diver to stop participation in the program entirely, a letter and doctors note must be provided to both the Nepean Ottawa Diving Club Board and the Head Coach. Where a doctor’s note indicating that the diver must withdraw from the program is received on or before December 31, 2022 30% of the fee (less the DPC fee) will be refunded. No refunds will be provided after December 31, 2022.

Request must be submitted in writing/email to the Nepean Ottawa Diving Club Board and the Head Coach and accompanied by appropriate proof. The request will be assessed based on the day it is received. Not on the last day of practice.
